Piedmont Newnan Hospital is located in the heart of Coweta County and provides its residents, and those in surrounding counties, high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services with a 136-bed, Joint Commission-accredited, acute-care hospital as well as access to multiple outpatient centers.

Tobacco-free, inside and out, Piedmont Newnan provides 24-hour emergency services, women's services and general medical/surgical services. Diagnostic services include digital mammography, CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. A complete range of medical/surgical services includes laparoscopic surgery, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, cardiac catheterization and rehabilitation, wound treatment/hyperbaric oxygen therapy and heartburn treatment.

With more than 830 employees and a medical staff of over 300 physicians, Piedmont Newnan includes its main hospital campus (located on Poplar Road), and its outpatient centers including: the Piedmont Outpatient Center (located at the Summit Healthplex); the Piedmont Sleep Center, the Piedmont Cardiovascular Imaging Center, and the Piedmont Rehabilitation Center (all located near Thomas Crossroads); the Piedmont Wellness Center (located in downtown Newnan); the Piedmont Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center (located on Hospital Road); and the Piedmont Ambulatory Surgery Center, Piedmont Heartburn Treatment Center, and the Piedmont Infusion Center (all located at the Piedmont Medical Plaza on Poplar Road).

Piedmont Newnan opened its replacement hospital facility, located at 745 Poplar Road in Newnan, in May 2012. The state-of-the-art design of this hospital, a 362,000-square-foot facility with nine total floors, is designed to improve patient access and wayfinding; provide flexibility for changing clinical, technology and community needs; increase operational efficiencies; and accommodate future growth. The on-campus medical office building, the Piedmont Medical Plaza, houses medical offices and hospital supporting departments in a 123,000-square-foot, four-story medical office building. The new facility and its campus allows for the growth of clinical, technology and community programs.
